The f-Sign Defense lineup, which includes both skin care and base makeup items, was formulated for sensitive and troubled skin and in general does not contain fragrances, chemical sunscreen ingredients, alcohol, mineral oil, and parabens. The base makeup items include the Skin Care Liquid (liquid foundation), this Skin Care Pact (powder foundation) and the Skin Care Lucent (pressed powder).

The Skin Care Pact claims to have skin care properties to protect dry, rough and troubled skin, and it supposedly forms a barrier over the skin against UV rays, dehydration and external irritants.

CLE DE PEAU Correcteur Visage (Ivory)

CLE DE PEAU Correcteur Visage 5g

This is the old (and famous) version of CLE DE PEAU’s concealer, and the version available outside Japan. It has since been reformulated and the packaging is different now. I haven’t tried the new version, and I don’t think I will. I’m also not sure what the difference is between the CLE DE PEAU base makeup line sold in Japan and the one sold elsewhere, but the products have different names.

I bought this when I was curious about CLE DE PEAU, but it’s probably my least favourite item out of the ones I’ve tried. (。◕ฺˇε ˇ◕ฺ。 ) I use only undereye concealer regularly (the rest of my face needs concealer too, but I’m lazy (´-ω-`;)ゞポリポリ), and this was a little disappointing in that regard.

GIORGIO ARMANI High Precision Retouch 4.4ml $35/A$54

My IPSA Eyezone Concealer smelt funny so I (sadly) tossed it and bought this to replace it. I can’t think of a reason why I bought this (as opposed to something else) other than I’m somehow on a mission to try everything GA. (*`▽´*)ウヒョヒョ

I only have one concealer at a time so I’ve been using this regularly for a few months and I like it! ・:*:・゚☆d(≧∀≦)b゚+.゚イイ It has some weaknesses but generally I can live with those.

BABYPINK T-zone Cover

BABYPINK T-zone Cover

Nope, I haven’t finished my SUQQU Pore Covering Base. (つω`*)テヘ I got a little sick of it and then remembered I bought this a while ago, so I took it out to use. I like BABYPINK! *:.。☆..。.(´∀`人) It’s cute. And small, which adds to the cuteness factor. And cheap. +.゚(*´∀`)b゚+.゚イィ

This is yet another of those solid, waxy silicone laden things that are supposed to fill your pores in.

P&J Protective Fluid Foundation (02)

PAUL & JOE Protective Fluid Foundation 30ml

I’m not sure which version of the Protective Fluid Foundation this is (PAUL&JOE seems to update their base makeup very regularly nowadays… (。-`ω´-)ぅぃ), but it’s probably quite an old version! (o ̄∀ ̄)ノ”ぁぃ

The Protective Fluid Foundation is a sheer coverage foundation with the natural, glowy finish PAUL&JOE is famous for. I’ve been using this lately, but it isn’t really what I’m looking for in a foundation… (ノω・、) ウゥ・・・

GIORGIO ARMANI Designer Shaping Cream Foundation 30ml $65 (excl. tax)

I’m scraping the bottom of this already. d(*・ω・*)b♪ (Although I very wastefully always scoop out more than I use… (´∀`;A)

Last winter I was looking for a moisturising foundation with good coverage (I was all red, flaky and sensitive from retin-a (;´Д`A “`) and settled upon GIORGIO ARMANI as it was one of the few brands I’m interested in with a counter near me. My other foundations were too dry and I needed a new one! (*´∀`)クスクス

GIORGIO ARMANI Fluid Sheer (#2)

The official website also refers to the #2 shade as Shimmering Beige, which is a pretty accurate descriptor of the colour.

I use this as a luminiser, mixing it into my foundation. It adds radiance and thins out thick, cream-type foundations, allowing them to be spread and applied more easily. The Fluid Sheers can, however, also be used as highlighters.
