The official website also refers to the #2 shade as Shimmering Beige, which is a pretty accurate descriptor of the colour.
I use this as a luminiser, mixing it into my foundation. It adds radiance and thins out thick, cream-type foundations, allowing them to be spread and applied more easily. The Fluid Sheers can, however, also be used as highlighters.
The packaged pump is the only thing I dislike about these Fluid Sheers. Unlike SHU UEMURA Base Control, the Fluid Sheer pump is stiff and not easily controlled if you wish to dispense anything less than one pump of product, which is the amount below, and generally a suitable amount for mixing with foundation:
#2 Shimmering Beige is a shimmery, pale champagne beige colour. When mixed with my foundation it adds shimmer but doesn’t lighten or darken my foundation shade, making it an ideal luminiser.
I like the texture of ARMANI Fluid Sheers better than SHU UEMURA Base Controls. Fluid Sheers are lighter in texture and less greasy, though both products have similar amounts of shimmer. I also find Fluid Sheers easier to mix with my foundation.
